Picturesque villages, indescribable sights of mountains and sea and the spirit of the old days are making this region an area that may not absent in your travel journal.
On this website you can find a number of charismatic, Italian accommodations in the centre of Il Cilento. For further preparation for your journey we have also included some links to other good and/ or interesting internet pages.

Hello, my name is Ger Eikendal. Besides my daily job as a painter, my wife and I rent a number of vacation homes in southern Italy. Italy has always attracted us. After spending our vacation the last 30 years in Italy, we finally realized a long standing dream in 2001: our private home in southern Italy.
Casa Valle delle Querce is an old renovated house located in the outskirts of the medieval village San Giovanni a Piro.
In short: my wife and I aren't experts on house rental and our rental activities are small scale. We know the accommodations and owners personally and that is very important to us.
The rental of our own home has turned out great during the whole year, and therefore some Italian friends asked us to rent there houses for them. This website will give you an impression of the available accommodations and the beautiful surroundings in which they are located.
We hope we can be of use to help you realize a pleasant holiday along the Gulf of Policastro.

  Southern Italy is a magnificent region that has remained undiscovered by many people. The Campania region, were Cilento is located, is one of the most interesting and diversified regions of Italy. The area was named 'Campania Felix' by the Romans; which means fortunate land. In those days the area was already very popular as a holiday residence. In this respect La Campania has a lot to offer. The coast in this region is miraculous, the inlands are picturesque and quiet and you will find large chains of mountains together with many impressive cultural treasures here.
With a surface of about 13.600 km2 it offers a residence to roughly 5,5 million inhabitants.
The famous Costiera Amalfitana is considered by many one of the world’s most beautiful sea coasts.
The nature reserve of Il Cilento, though, is yet to be discovered by the general public.
